Kabuifairy is the first blog/website of the Rongmei community to be online. It is a non-profit website created to bring out the rich culture of the Kabui/Rongmei tribe also promote individual and organisation.This site also contian a brief history of the tribe,their settelement,their food habit,their tools and artefact. The Rongmei terms used in this website may be slightly different from the original that are spoken in Tamenglong district,as most of the terms here are based on the terms used by the Rongmei in Imphal valley. It also provide free / low cost advertisement.
The word "fairy" used in this website simply means "a small imaginary being with magical powers" as the site has been created with the simple purpose of helping and reaching out to everyone seeking knowledge about the Kabui/Rongmei tribe. And the name Kabui is used here in place of Rongmei as it is officially recognized by the GOI.
All logos and trademarks in this site apart from Kabuifairy property are property of their respective owner.This website is online since January 2005.
