There are four main clan among the Kabuis.Each clan is again divided into various sub-clan The four main clan are
Kamei

Golmei (Gonmei)

Gangmei

And Loungmei.

Among the Kamei it is divided into seven sub-clan as for instance, Marangmei/MALANGMEI,Pammei,and Kamson. Marriange between the same clan is not practise as the person with the same clan is considered as Brother and Sister.
Among the Golmei Clan some of the Sub-clan are Gondaimei,Dangmei,Panmei.
And among the Gangmei for instance the Kamang Gangmei.
According to Kabui law marriage between the same Clan is not possible between the Kabui community. For instance,The Marangmei cannot marry the pammei because they are consider the same clan KAMEI and so like Brother and sister.
